Palm Desert July 4th Fireworks 2020 Canceled: See Events Nearby

PALM DESERT, CA — Independence Day events across the country will not look the same this year, thanks to the coronavirus. Most cities and organizations canceled their traditional Fourth of July events, including Palm Desert, which canceled its fireworks extravaganza, opting instead for a community-wide "Listening Party."

At least three, previously scheduled regional fireworks shows were dropped this week: in Lake Elsinore; at Lake Arrowhead; and in Big Bear.

But throughout Riverside County and the Inland Empire, live July 4th fireworks still are planned from Twentynine Palms and Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage. Plus several communities are hosting patriotic, fun activities to do from home.
