Palm Desert Post of Sheriff's Explorers Test Their Knowledge in Competition

The competition was designed to test an explorer's knowledge, skills, training, endurance, teamwork, & other law enforcement related skills.

The following is a news release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

From August 16-17, 2014, the Riverside Sheriff’s Explorer Post 507 from the Palm Desert Station proudly represented the desert communities within the cities of Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, and other communities within Riverside County.

Explorer Post 507 participated in the San Gabriel Valley Council 9th Annual Explorer X Games Competition hosted by the Monrovia Police Department in Monrovia, California. Post 507 was one out of 22 posts participating from all over the United States.

The competition was designed to test an explorer’s knowledge, skills, training, endurance, teamwork, and other law enforcement related skills taught to them by their advisors and other peace officers.

The Riverside Sheriff’s Explorer Post 507 is actively recruiting motivated youths to join the ranks as a Riverside County Sheriff’s Explorer.
