The standout cornerback from Palm Desert High and Oregon State was released toady by the Cleveland Browns, as they made the final cuts from the pre-season roster.

Dockery, heading into his second NFL season, was listed as third at right cornerback on the Browns' depth chart.
He acknowledged an outpouring of support on his twitter account (@JamesDockery31) saying:

Dockery signed with the Browns in 2011 as an undrafted free agent. He played in 12 games with Cleveland in his rookie season, making 2 solo tackles and adding 3 assists.
