Palm Desert Traffic Alert: Highway 111 Signal Work

From the City of Palm Desert: Palm Desert -Highway 111 Signal Work: The traffic signals on Highway 111 at Portola Avenue will be dark or in flash mode for much of the day on Wednesday, January 10, with the intersection functioning as a four-way stop.

Similar work will take place at the intersection of Highway 111 and San Luis Rey Avenue on the following Wednesday, January 17, and at the intersection of Highway 111 and Town Center Way/El Paseo on Wednesday, January 24.

All three signal outages are scheduled to take place from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Four-way stop signs will control traffic.

Delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to allow extra time or use alternate routes such as Fred Waring Drive.
