Palm Springs Art Museum Preps For 80th Anniversary Bash
Don your "winter whites," and enjoy the gala, which includes performance by America's Got Talent finalist Johnny Manuel. Tickets on sale.

PALM SPRINGS, CA –The Palm Springs Art Museum will host its 80th anniversary gala, on Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, with entertainment including "flair bartenders," a performance by America’s Got Talent finalist Johnny Manuel and dancing with music by DJ Lee Dyson.
“The Art is You” is the celebration's theme, and attendees are encouraged to wear cocktail-casual to semi-formal "winter whites," as they will be the canvas onto which art will be projected, according to museum organizers.
The extravaganza will honors 11 "superstar" donor families -- each having contributed More than $5 million in cash and gifts of art.

Trustee Gwendolyn Weiner, whose family has long been involved in the museum's history,will chair the event. She will be supported by co-chairs Barbara Keller and Ann Sheffer.
Festivities kick off at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception and appetizers, followed at 7 p.m. by an elegant dinner prepared by Chef Brad Toles of Savoury’s Catering.
