Palm Springs: PD Can Have the Box Stores
Palm Springs fights to keep "big box" stores and unwanted chains out of their city, while Palm Desert is welcoming retail growth.
With the controversy over across the valley, Palm Desert City Councilmember Jan Harnik said recently that she and other city staffers attended the RECon commercial real estate and development convention with good results.
She hinted that the city will have a "major development" regarding this to be announced soon.
