Police Blotter For March 4-8

Here's the police blotter for Palm Desert for March 4-8:

Friday, March 4

12:45 a.m.: Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Cook Street at Highway 111 and arrested John Potter, 57, of Newport Beach for driving under the influence.

6:45 a.m.: Officers responded to a battery within the 73-100 block of San Nicholas Avenue. Investigation showed two Hispanic male suspects jumped the 25-year-old victim and took his money.

6:20 p.m.: Officers responded to burglary that just occurred inside of the Indian Ridge Country Club. The homeowner found a Hispanic male hiding inside of his bedroom closet. Jairo Martinez, 30, of Cathedral City was arrested for burglary.

9:19 p.m.: Officers responded to 74855 Country Club Drive at the Marriott Desert Springs Resort, reference a hotel guest in possession of narcotics. Eric Correia, 36, of San Diego was arrested for possession of cocaine.

Saturday, March 5

1:10 a.m.: Officers responded to Iron Tree and Mariposa drives reference country club security out with a reckless driver stopped and refusing to get out of his car. Raymond Road, 63, of Palm Desert was arrested for driving under the influence.

8:06 a.m.: Officers arrested Miguel Lopez, 37, of Cathedral City after he intentionally rammed his vehicle into his ex-girlfriend's car.

4 p.m.: Officers arrested Shelly Brown, 47, of Palm Desert for driving under the influence at San Pablo Avenue and Highway 111.

6:09 p.m.: Officers arrested Joseph Schilling, 46, a Palm Desert transient for public intoxication at the Wells Fargo Bank in Palm Desert.

6:10 p.m.: Officers arrested Justin Goins, 21, for a no-bail parolee-at-large warrant in the 74-000 block of Magnesia Falls Drive.

Sunday, March 6

12:34 a.m.: Officers arrested Richard Ysiano, 29, of Cathedral City for possession of a dangerous weapon (dirk or dagger) following a vehicle stop at Highway 111 and San Luis Rey.

2:20 a.m.: Officers arrested Manuel Santillan, 30, of Indio for driving under the influence at Fred Waring Drive and Highway 111.

12:30 p.m.: Officers investigated a report of a past rape. The female victim alleged the incident occurred in Palm Desert in December 2010. The investigation is ongoing Palm Desert.

Monday, March 7

11:55 a.m.: Officers arrested a 15-year-old Palm Desert High School student for possession of marijuana.

5:05 p.m.: Officers arrested Claudia Germa, 33, of Palm Desert for corporal punishment on a child and false imprisonment within the 74-500 block of Driftwood in Palm Desert.

9:20 p.m.: Officers arrested Daniel Aguirre, 26, of Palm Desert for a domestic violence/spousal abuse felony warrant while investigating a disturbance at 72600 Fred Waring Drive.

Tuesday, March 8

6:11 p.m.: Officers arrested Julian Hackett, 18, of Cathedral City for shoplifting at the Target Store at 72-549 Highway 111.
