Practice Set for Palm Springs Aerial Tram Road Challenge
Every Saturday leading up to the race, runners and walkers are invited to different cities to join others getting ready for the challenge.
The second of eight practice walks will take place this morning to help prepare participants looking to take part in the 30th anniversary of the Palm Springs Aerial Tram Road Challenge 6K Run & Walk on Oct. 24.

The event is co-sponsored by KMIR and KPSE, with proceeds benefiting The United Way of the Desert.

Participants in the practice sessions are encouraged to bring non- perishable, kid-friendly food items.
Satruday’s event began at 7 a.m. and will be held at Dennis Keat Soccer Park, 69-400 30th Avenue.
