Public Input Sought On New Branding For Palm Springs Intl. Airport

The new branding is expected to exemplify iconic Palm Springs.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Palm Springs International Airport is inviting the community to participate in a series of two public meetings designed to foster input on plans for new branding of the facility.

“Palm Springs International Airport recognizes our community is interested in this important process,” said Harry Barrett, the airport’s executive director. “We look forward to receiving your input so that we can develop the kind of comprehensive branding that exemplifies the iconic Palm Springs destination.”

Residents can choose to participate in one of the following Zoom meetings:

The Zoom meetings will include a presentation from the airport’s marketing consultant, Aviatrix Communications, explaining the ongoing project and the process. Following each meeting presentation, members of the public will have the opportunity to provide public comment. In addition, those who attend the meeting(s) will be given a link to provide written feedback.

Thirteen airlines currently serve Palm Springs International Airport, which features nonstop flights to more than 30 airports and one-stop travel to over 500 cities worldwide, according to the city of Palm Springs. The city owns and operates the facility, which is the only commercial service airport in the Coachella Valley.
