Rancho Mirage Man Killed In Highway 74 Crash
According to a GoFundMe post, the victim is survived by his fiancée, who is expecting their child.
MOUNTAIN CENTER, CA — A motorcycle rider who was killed in a weekend crash on the Pines to Palms Highway has been identified as a Rancho Mirage man.
Eric Boettcher, 38, died at the scene after he was involved in a multi-vehicle crash shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday on East Highway 74, just west of Carrizo Road, in Mountain Center.
It was unclear if there were further injuries.

The road through the crash scene was closed for more than three hours. It reopened at 7:49 p.m. Saturday.
