Red Lobster Owners to buy Yard House Chain

Darden Restaurants, owners of the popular Olive Garden and Red Lobster chains, have agred to buy the Yard House restaurants for $585 million.

Yard House has a location at The River in Rancho Mirage, while Olive Garden and Red Lobster both have sites on Highway 111 near Fred Waring in Palm Desert.
