REMINDER: 2 Area Bone Marrow Drives Today For CHP Officer

The events are in Temecula today -- March 18 -- until 5 p.m., and in Blythe until 1 p.m. Mere swab of cheek is all that is involved!

In the shadow of the death of one of its officers, the CHP is looking to bring awareness and help find a cure for blood cancers on behalf of another.

Participants between the ages of 18 and 44 are encouraged to become part of the registry with a simple swab of the cheek.

The "Be The Match" registry for Officer Keith Meter will be taking samples from potential marrow donors, ages 18-44, in Temecula and Blythe today, Friday.
