RivCo Firefighters Quell 2 Blazes At La Quinta Homes
Crews put out two different fires at single-family homes in the Coachella Valley on Friday afternoon.

LA QUINTA, CA — Firefighters put out fires at two different homes in La Quinta just on Friday, authorities said.
The first fire was reported at 9 a.m. on the 50300 block of Spyglass Hill Road in La Quinta. Crews faced heavy smoke and fire until they were able to contain it, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department reported on X.
SoCal Gas and Imperial Irrigation District were requested at the property, the department said.

Just three hours later, around noon, crews were sent to a single-family, single-story home on the 52500 block of Avenida Carranza, where heavy smoke billowed from the structure, fire officials said.
SoCal Gas and La Quinta Building and Safety were called to assist. No injuries were reported, the department said.
