RivCo Teen Found Shot To Death: Sheriff

MECCA, CA — Investigators are searching for a suspect after an 18-year-old man was fatally shot in Mecca Tuesday night, authorities said.

Deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at 7:58 p.m. near the intersection of Coahuilla and Sixth streets and found Anjel Rodriguez, of Thermal, dead from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

No suspects have been identified and no one was taken into custody.
