Trio Arrested For RivCo Homicide

The suspects are charged with murder for a 2017 shooting death.

PERRIS, CA – Three Riverside County men were arrested last week in connection with the fatal shooting of a Perris man in 2017, authorities said Monday.

Deputies were called Sept. 16, 2017 at about 10:15 p.m. to the 1300 block of Raven Hollow Road in Perris, where Curtis McDaniel, 43, was found shot inside his home, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said. McDaniel was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital, but he died from his injuries a few days later.

On July 24, deputies arrested Lonzo Lee Ford III, 20, of San Jacinto, Jevante Terrell Stewart, 23, and Dameontae Wright-Patterson, 19, both of Hemet on suspicion of first-degree murder in McDaniel's death, along with firearm and gang-enhancement allegations.
