Stagecoach: Brandi Carlisle Tests Positive For COVID

Brandi Carlisle will not perform at 2022's Stagecoach music festival. Here's who's playing and what Guy Fieri is cooking.

INDIO, CA — As the Stagecoach country music festival rolls into Indio after a two-year hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, one of Friday night's big acts will be unable to attend.

Brandi Carlisle revealed this week that she tested positive for coronavirus and has canceled her Friday performance.

Coronavirus protocols at this weekend's festival are similar to the previous two weekends of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. Both events are produced by Goldenvoice, which announced there are no testing or masking requirements. Coronavirus testing will be available at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. It will open again from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Friday night is headlined by Thomas Rhett, while Saturday night will feature Carrie Underwood. Sunday, the main event is Luke Combs.

Doors will open at 11 a.m. with performances from Spencer Crandall on the Spotlight Stage and Amythyst Kiah at Palomino Stage set to begin at 1:30 p.m.

Rhett is scheduled to perform at 9:50 p.m. on the Mane Stage and the night will end with a performance by Breland on the Palomino Stage at 11:20 p.m.

Also, when you go... don't forget to visit Guy Fieri's Stagecoach Smokehouse. You just might see him there. On Thursday Fieri joined La Quinta High School students and served up barbecue meals to hundreds of people. He also served active-duty military members, veterans, first responders and their families at Aziz Farms in Thermal.

Fieri's Stagecoach Smokehouse showcases barbecue from across the country, featuring different flavors from California to Tennessee to Georgia so bring your bib. Pitmasters and barbecue chefs from around the nation will be serving patrons. Fieri will also conduct cooking demonstrations with the artists Midland, LoCash and Luke Combs.
