Statewide Certification Awarded to Palm Desert Woman

Palm Desert community association manager has earned statewide certification.

Lori Pillatzke with The Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert, Calif., has earned the statewide designation of Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) for the third quarter of 2014. The CCAM is the only California-specific certification awarded to professionals working in the community association management field in California

Pillatzke joins 40 other professionals in California who earned the CCAM designation this quarter.

“Professionals like Lori act as champions for their communities and have tremendous responsibilities for the residents they serve,” said Karen Conlon, president and CEO of CACM. “They guide volunteer HOA boards through complicated issues such as finances, state legislation and dispute resolution, while overseeing all aspects of property maintenance. The CCAM certification process prepares community managers for these tasks, which require a broad set of technical and interpersonal skills to effectively manage homeowners associations in today’s environment.”
