Suspected Gang Member Arrested After Gunfire Outside Palm Springs Nightclub
A fight broke out in the parking lot at closing time early Saturday morning.

A 22-year-old man was in custody today for allegedly opening fire outside a Palm Springs nightclub.
Calvin Walton was being held in lieu of $20,000 bail at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, where he was booked following his arrest at 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Walton is suspected of firing several shots just before 2 a.m. Saturday during a fight in the parking lot of The Palm House, 450 South Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs police Lt. Mike Kovaleff said.

No one was hit by the gunfire, but two men were hurt in the fight, police said.
Walton was booked on suspicion of negligently discharging a firearm and participation in a gang.
