Today's Health Fest Offers Glo-In-Dark Run, Free Medical, Dental Screenings
The all-day event in Cathedral City should be great fun for the kids, too, with gardening stations, live music and neon Slip-N-Slides!
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA - A major health and fitness event in Cathedral City today will offer free medical and dental screenings, along with the chance to participate in an after-dark run under the stars, according to organizers.
The second annual "Passport to Health'' -- free to the public -- will feature vision, medical and dental examinations to attendees, provided by Cathedral City's Borrego Health and Palm Springs' Desert Regional Medical Center.
The health fair also will include vendors giving information on a variety health-related products and services, as well as a CV FRESH hands-on planting station, intended to show children the fun of cultivating plants and growing their own food.
