Vehicle Crashes Into Building, 4 Injured In Palm Desert
All four occupants were taken to a local hospital, officials said.

PALM DESERT, CA — Four people were hospitalized in critical condition Friday after a vehicle crashed into an unoccupied building in Palm Desert.
The collision was reported at 1:48 a.m. Friday in the 73000 block of Highway 111, according to Lt. Deirdre Vickers of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies determined that a single vehicle struck the building, and all four occupants were transported to a local hospital, Vickers said.

Highway 74 and El Paseo Drive were temporarily closed following the crash but have since reopened.
No arrests were reported, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
