Auction proceeds will go toward a project at the Coachella Valley History Museum.

COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — The Coachella Valley History Museum is giving music fans a chance to win VIP passes to the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Festival via silent auctions that are currently underway.
The “Light the Date Grove Silent Auction” is being conducted through the Coachella Valley History Museum’s website at cvhm.org. Online visitors can find complete instructions on how to bid in the separate auctions for one pair of Coachella VIP passes with premier parking for April 22-24 (valued at $2,500) and one pair of Stagecoach Saloon passes with parking for April 29-May 1 (valued at $1,700).
Auction proceeds will go toward the $25,000 project to light the Memorial Date Garden next to the 1909 Schoolhouse at the Coachella Valley History Museum’s campus, 82616 Miles Avenue in Indio.

"The 24-tree grove features a natural date palm branch canopy and is a favored outdoor setting for private events. It is a living tribute to the agricultural exports the Coachella Valley is known for across the nation and the globe," according to the museum.
Bidding in the silent auctions is open through 11:59 p.m. March 31, and museum officials hope the $25,000 goal will be met. If sufficient funds are raised, the lighting installation at the museum campus is scheduled to begin in May, the museum reported.
