Vote Now to Help Local Charities!
PGA TOUR CareerBuilder Challenge Volunteers Encourage You to Vote Today in Friendly Competition to Help Local Charities!
Each year, with the help of more than 100,000 volunteers nationwide, the PGA TOUR and its tournaments raise millions of dollars for charity, with more than $2.14 billion raised to date. Volunteers in the Coachella Valley have enabled the CareerBuilder Challenge to earn $57 million for local charities since its inception in 1960.
Now the public can contribute to the charitable giving at the CareerBuilder Challenge by voting in the PGA TOUR Volunteer Challenge sponsored by Myrbetriq® (mirabegron). In its third year, this friendly competition honors the talent and dedication of the TOUR’s volunteers, including 1,000 from the Coachella Valley.
From now until 11 a.m. PT on Saturday of tournament week, January 21, participating volunteer teams are asking friends, family, co-workers and the general public to cast a vote for them at pgatour.com/volunteers. Those who do not know a volunteer can vote directly for the tournament. At the end of the voting period, the volunteer team with the most votes will earn the opportunity to present a $10,000 check on behalf of Astellas Pharma US, Inc., to his or her charity of choice from a list selected by the tournament. The tournament also has the opportunity to earn up to an additional $65,000 in charitable bonus funds based on the total number of votes received collectively by volunteers and the tournament.
