PALM SPRINGS, CA — Over the past weekend, shoppers who ventured to the Walmart Supercenter at 5601 E Ramon Road in Palm Springs might have noticed some hoopla.
On Saturday, the store celebrated a ribbon-cutting for its newly completed "transformation," which includes an expanded online grocery pickup and delivery department; new storewide signage and displays; a new private wellness room located in the pharmacy area for immunizations and consultations; an updated Vision Center; and remodeled customer restrooms.
“We are thrilled to reveal our newly remodeled Palm Springs Supercenter to our community today,” said Walmart store manager Amanda Pool. “This remodel represents our commitment to our community as we hope our updated space will provide a positive shopping experience for our customers."
