Want Flat-Screen TV for 99 Cents? Be Among First 9 in Line At Store Opening Tuesday

And if you miss out on that, there are other deals all week at the new 99 Cents Only store opening in Palm Springs.

PALM SPRINGS, CA – A 99 Cents Only store will celebrate its grand opening in Palm Springs Tuesday by selling 32-inch flat-screen LCD TVs for 99 cents apiece to the first nine customers in line, some of whom began camping out a day early to take advantage of the deal.

The store, which will open at 8 a.m. Tuesday at 102 S. Sunrise Way, will offer a slate of 99-cent deals to its first round of customers, in addition to the flat-screen TVs.

After the first nine customers take home those TVs, the following 99 customers will be able to purchase a scooter for 99 cents. The next 99 will be able to take home 99-cent coffee makers and the next 99 customers can buy 99- cent digital cameras.

Other grand opening specials will follow over the next three days, according to the company, including:

-- a 99-cent blender sale for the first 99 customers in line Wednesday;
-- a 99-cent George Foreman Grill for the first 99 customers in line Thursday; and
-- a 99-cent mini-sewing machine sale for the first 99 customers in line on Friday.

The Palm Springs store will also feature a perishable food department carrying produce, dairy and frozen foods.

The store will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
