Wolfgang Puck, Tommy Bahama Among Palm Desert Eateries Taking Part in Restaurant Week

More than 100 local businesses are expected to participate in the fifth annual Palm Springs Desert Resorts Restaurant Week, starting Friday.

Restaurant Week runs through June 16, and businesses throughout the Coachella Valley will offer deals on dining, lodging and attractions. More than 70 restaurants in Palm Springs, Indio, La Quinta, Indian Wells, Desert Hot Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert and Cathedral City will have three-course fixed-price menus for $26 or $38 per person.

Hotels and attractions -- including The Living Desert and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway -- will have special rates and perks available only during Restaurant Week, according to organizers.

This year's newcomers include dish in Cathedral City, Workshop Kitchen & Bar in Palm Springs, Mastro's in Palm Desert and Cork & Fork in La Quinta.
