Workshop Offers Insights Into Online Marketing

The instructor for the series is Erin Hollins, Digital Marketing Manager at Desert Regional Hospital. Hollins worked for the Gannett Corp. for four years prior to moving to Desert Regional.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center will host a new series, “The Digital Marketing Checklist” later this month as part of an effort to enhance local business' presence online.

The workshops are set for Feb. 23 and March 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the CVWBC office at 77-806 Flora Road in Palm Desert.  

The instructor for the series is Erin Hollins, Digital Marketing Manager at Desert Regional Hospital. Hollins worked for the Gannett Corp. for four years prior to moving to Desert Regional, and in the multimedia and entertainment industry for ten years previous to that.

The workshops will cover the essentials of digital marketing, used to enhance a business’ presence online. 

Part one will include an introduction and overview to digital marketing, along with a checklist of must-haves for your online marketing, including ROI measurement and analytics, search engine marketing, website design, content sharing, social media (with an emphasis on Facebook), e-mail marketing, and mobile integration.

The second workshop will provide a brief review of the digital marketing checklist, and drill down into detail on the most important things to focus on in search engine optimization and marketing (SEO/SEM), as well as how to make the most of digital marketing choices by utilizing analytics to measure ROI.
