Youth Invited To Show Off Artwork Honoring Palm Desert Police

Received artwork will be displayed in the Palm Desert Sheriff's Station lobby.

PALM DESERT, CA — The City of Palm Desert is inviting children to show off their imagination and artistic skills to create artworks honoring the men and women who serve and protect their community on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

Palm Desert’s first-ever art drive-in and drop-off event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, January 9.

Art can be dropped off at the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station, located at 73705 Gerald Ford Drive.

Some of the Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies who serve as Palm Desert’s police officers will be present to accept the artwork safely from participants’ vehicles. Received artwork will be displayed in the Sheriff’s Station lobby.
