PALM SPRINGS, CA — For the 10th year in a row, Eisenhower Medical Center has earned an "A" for hospital safety in The Leapfrog Group's biannual hospital rankings released on Wednesday.
Leapfrog Group's Hospital Safety Grades are a biannual ranking that assigns letter grades to all general hospitals in the U.S. based on their record of protecting patients from medical errors, accidents, injuries and infections.
This year, Eisenhower was one of 113 hospitals in California that received an "A" on the report.
Compared to all other states, California ranked 10th for the percentage of hospitals that received an "A" in the report.
