Palm Springs Public Library To Host Annual 6-Week Summer Reading Program

The program will run from Monday through July 18, with this year's theme set as "Plant A Seed, Read!"

PALM SPRINGS, CA — The Palm Springs Public Library announced Thursday its annual six-week summer reading program will return next week aimed at preventing seasonal learning loss.

"Research shows that reading over the summer helps prevent learning loss," Director of Library Services Jeannie Kays said in a statement. "Our library is committed to supporting lifelong learning and educational enrichment for all ages, and summer reading is one of our favorite ways to encourage our community to keep reading, exploring and growing."
