• Car Plows Into Two Downtown Palm Springs Businesses (nbcpalmsprings.com) — Downtown Palm Springs shoppers may notice major damage at Bill's Pizza and bookstore Galavant after a driver accidentally accelerated from a parking stall and crashed through their glass storefronts in the La Plaza complex. Police say the driver suffered minor injuries, no pedestrians or employees were hurt, and drugs or alcohol are not suspected, as affected businesses thank the community for support.
