PALM SPRINGS, CA — Tropical storm Rachel was blamed for the closure of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway due to technical problems related to the weekend storm.
Officials did not disclose what problems the tramway was experiencing after the storm.
Maintenance crews were working to restore service as quickly and safely as possible, Tramway officials said.
