DineGPS in Greater Palm Springs Kicks-off Restaurant Week Today

Greater Palm Springs has become quite a foodie wonderland with its James Beard award winning chefs, innovative kitchens, and picturesque al fresco dining experiences.

Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week, presented by Agua Caliente Casinos, is the perfect opportunity to kick-off the summer season. This annual foodie festival gives $1 for every reservation booked through this page to FIND Food Bank, helping to fight hunger throughout the Coachella Valley.

At a recent preview, I met with Todd Burke, Vice President of Communications at Visit Greater Palm Springs. “Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week is an open invitation to explore the depth and creativity of our desert’s culinary scene," he said. Each year, it brings our community and visitors together to discover new favorites, celebrate our chefs and the talented teams behind every dining experience, and savor the richness that defines dining in Greater Palm Springs.”

Participating restaurants offer a special breakfast, brunch, lunch, and/or dinner menu at set prices. Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch are usually 2+ items starting at $15 | $25 | $35 or a special offer. Dinners usually include 3+ items: and start at $39 | $49 | $59 or special offer.

Prices and meal periods vary by restaurant and exclude beverages, tax, and gratuity. Restaurant Week menus are offered during lunch and dinner hours only. Here's some favorite spots to visit during the 10-day foodie event:

PALM SPRINGS

Lulu's California Bistro is offer a $35 prix-fixe lunch menu and a $49 dinner menu. Be sure to order the Ahi tuna tostada; chilled cucumber soup; and fish tacos.



The Steak House Palm Springs is offering a three-course dinner for $55. This elegant and sophisticated restaurant is attached to the Agua Caliente Casino.

TRIO is where Palm Springs locals like to eat. Their dineGPS dinner for $49includes a choice of crab croquettes or Caesar salad or local lettuce salad. Entrees include wild mushroom pasta or Duroc pork chop or half a chicken or seared ahi tuna or steak frites. Finish with their famous brownies a la mode or upside down blueberry cake.

The Michelin award winning Workshop Kitchen and Bar is offering a fantastic $59 prix-fixe dinner. Located in an iconic architectural building, guests can enjoy cucumber gazpacho; duck leg confit salad; Pacific Northwest halibut; Angus Prime flat iron steak; and pistachio tres leches cake for dessert.

Alice B Palm Springs for an an inspired 3-course dinner menu blending Southern California’s seasonal ingredients. This $49 menu features lively flavors of the Mediterranean such as Medjool date and apple salad; seeded chicken cutlet with dill aioli, frisbee, apple, radish and harissa vinaigrette; and luscious pot de creme.

Lola Rose Grand Mezze presents a special $35 lunch menu at The Thompson Palm Springs. Start with whipped ricotta or tzatziki or hummus. Entrees include saffron chicken; spicy lamb kufta or beef tenderloin. Finish with a Turkish holiday.

BAR ISSI is a very popular elevated coastal Italian restaurant at The Thompson Palm Springs offering a special three-course $59 dinner. They also offer some of their signature sides for an additional fee.

CATHEDRAL CITY

Agua Caliente’s Cafe One Eleven in Cathedral City for prime cuts of steak to farm-to-table salads. They are offering a special menu starting at $55. Stay overnight at Agua Caliente Resort.

PALM DESERT

Wildest Restaurant and Bar has a special three-course $49.95 dinner that includes a glass of house French Bubbles Grandial Blanc de Blancs. The menu starts with a soup or salad, followed by an English pea and black truffle ravioli or crispy skin market fish or braised beef short ribs. Finish with a deconstructed banana split or that glass of Blanc de Blancs.

Mole Ingenious Mexican Kitchen in Palm Desert for bold Mexican flavors throughout the $49 per person dinner. Stay at the newer Mojave Resort.

RANCHO MIRAGE

Double Date in Rancho Mirage has a menu inspired by the Coachella Valley’s legacy as the Date Capitol of the World.

Waterscafe' in Agua Caliente Casino, Rancho Mirage is offering a $45 three course dinner that includes garlic ginger chicken soup; pan seared sea-scallops or stuffed oven roasted chicken breast; and pot de creme.

INDIAN WELLS

Tommy Bahamas Miramonte Resort and Spa's signature Grapefruit Basil is offering a 3-course dinner for $59. The elevated menu choices include a choice of starters that include beet salad or braised short rib empanadas or a Dungeness crab cake. Entrees include filet mignon with truffle potatoes or grilled octopus with patatas bravas, Mary's half chicken or spaghetti squash. Finish with a butterscotch buddino or Meyer Lemon meringue pie.

Seven Olive Modern Gastropub in Indian Wells is inside the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa Serving elevated pub fare, they are offering a special $49 dinner. The menu reimagines classic favorites with seasonal ingredients and chef-driven techniques in their wedge salad; goat cheese tart; birria sandwich; fish and chips; and warm butter cake with vanilla ice cream.

COACHELLA

Coachella Firehouse Bar & Grill in Coachella is a high-energy atmosphere in the heart of Sixth Street. This restaurant serves up a menu of bold American and Hispanic comfort food, wood-fired pizzas, and specialty burgers. It is offering a special lunch and dinner menu.

DESERT HOT SPRINGS

Delicias Mexican Cuisine, Desert Hot Springs – Inspired by the fusion of national and foreign cultures in Mexico City, Delicias offers traditional Michoacán-style dishes and handmade tortillas. This restaurant will have a special lunch and dinner menu.

In between meals, relax at one of the award-winning spas, play a round of golf at one of the more than 100 golf courses, explore their world-class museum, take a tram ride up to a majestic mountainan to cool down and go for a hike.

INDIO

Jackalope Ranch, Indio is under new ownership offering an expansive dining experience where guests can enjoy finely smoked BBQ, potato skins, calamari steak fries, slow cooked prime rib and steaks, seared pork chops and a classic cheesecake elevated estate setting. They are offering a special $49 dinner.
