Pavement Project On Highway 111 In Palm Springs To Start Oct. 16
The work is funded through Senate Bill 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Construction crews will begin working on a $3.2 million pavement project on State Route 111 in Palm Springs on Friday, Oct. 16, Caltrans said.
The pavement work will be performed from the 10 Freeway to just past Tramway Road on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to Caltrans.
Caltrans said crews will conduct pavement resurfacing with precoated aggregate, asphalt rubber binder, and traffic stripe tape.

The work is funded through Senate Bill 1 (SB1), the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017.
Crews will shut one lane on the highway and keep one lane open in both directions.

Signs will be placed on the highway advising motorists of lane closures.
The California Highway Patrol will be at the location for traffic and safety.
Weather permitted, the project is expected to be completed by the end of the year, the agency said.
