PALM SPRINGS, CA — A man who was believed to be armed was located and arrested Saturday, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
Officers sought the suspect since around 7 p.m. Friday in the area west of North Indian Canyon, south of San Rafael Drive and north of San Carlos Road.
He was described as 5-feet-8-inches tall with short dark hair, a light mustache and tattoos on his chest and upper shoulders. He was reportedly shirtless and wearing gray shorts at the time of the search.

No injuries were reported, and police did not release any further details.
