SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — BTS was singing the praises of a Bay Area pizzeria during a recent show in Stanford, according to reports.
Vocalist V told the crowd about “that yummy pizza” during Saturday’s show after the band sampled the pies at Vesta in Redwood City on May 11, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Co-owner Courtney Borrone told People that BTS ordered sausage and honey, carbonara and pepperoni pizzas, as well as some small plates, and that they even returned on Monday to try the desserts.
"As a small, family owned business, we are so honored that they dined with us and loved our food and we are grateful for the opportunity to have served them," she told the outlet.
V did not mention the restaurant by name, according to the Chronicle, but Vesta still had its busiest Monday ever after his pizza praise, People reported.
The K-pop band, currently on a global tour to promote its album, “Arirang,” had shows Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday at the Stanford Stadium.
