Are These YOUR Rare Chinese, Japanese Coins? Redwood City Police Searching for Owner
Police are hoping someone may recognize these coins, which were recovered from theft suspects.

Redwood City police found some rare vintage Chinese and Japanese coins with a suspect arrested for a theft from a vehicle last year and are asking for the public’s help in finding out who owns them.
The suspect was arrested on Nov. 20 and a search of his car turned up the rare coins, police said.

Investigators suspect they were stolen but don’t know from where or when.

To find the source of the coins, police posted a photo of them on Pinterest and are asking anyone who recognizes them to contact the Police Department at (650) 780-7100.
