First Baptist Church, 305 N California Ave, Palo Alto

Resounding Achord is a 40+ mixed choir ensemble based in San Jose. The group is led by Artistic Director Kristina Nakagawa. They are now coming to Palo Alto for the first time with a wonderful set of choral songs that will please all ages.

This collage-style concert was brought together when Kristina asked singers to submit a few of their favorite choral pieces for consideration. It will be an eclectic blend of music from many different styles and eras. Highlights include Randall Thompson’s inspiring “Alleluia,” Rachmaninoff’s sublime “Bogoroditse Djevo,” Frank Ticheli’s affirming “Earth Song,” and Moses Hogan’s rousing spiritual “My Soul’s Been Anchored in the Lord”
