Clinic Addressing Adult ADHD Opens In Silicon Valley
The founders of the facility are three area leaders in the field of attention and performance issues.

A Silicon Valley clinic focused on adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder has opened in Los Altos, led by three experts who have joined forces to create a “one-stop shop” for everyone from tech industry leaders and venture capitalists to attorneys, university students, and parents battling attention issues.
Two Stanford-trained psychiatrists, Zaakir Yoonas and Lawrence Choy, along with ADHD treatment expert Phil Boissiere, have opened the Elite Focus Clinic to treat people trying to reach their goals and find ultimate performance through medical and clinical treatment.
“Until now, people have had to piece-meal their treatment together, or even just shoot in the dark, hoping to find good care, while trying to keep up in a very competitive environment,” said Boissiere.

Yoonas added: “We believe that the fast-paced and creative culture that exists in the Bay Area has been a magnet for very talented people with ADHD. Unfortunately, talent and intellect can only take someone so far if they are sidelined by attention and performance issues.”
Elite Focus Clinic will address the full picture of adult ADHD, with approaches to sleep, diet, relationships and thought patterns to empower patients, the founders said.

“We are not in the business of prescribing medications to people who do not meet clear criteria after a rigorous assessment,” said Choy. ”The bedrock of our program is our unwavering ethics, skill and dedication to help people thrive. However, if someone does not meet the criteria for ADHD, we still work with them to address sleep, nutrition, performance coaching and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help them reach great heights.”
Elite Focus Clinic is at 881 Fremont St. in Los Altos. More info can be found here.
