Contest Winner: Cutest Dog in Palo Alto

Patch launched our Cutest Dog in Palo Alto Contest last weekend. Voting closed at 5 p.m. Friday.  And the winner is Sonny Boy!

This is how Owen Byrd described Sonny Boy in his submission, “Sonny Boy is a small, 10-year-old rescue mutt who loves to visit with little kids in Johnson Park and on University Avenue. He's had tough physical luck, with many surgeries, including having his deformed front legs straightened more than once. Though it all he remains one of the sweetest, most gentle dogs in the neighborhood.”

Sonny Boy’s owner wins a $25 gift certificate to a Palo Alto pet store.

Taking second place is Rory. Rory’s owner will receive a Patch canvas tote bag.
