Crash Blocks Oregon Expressway: Palo Alto Police
BREAKING: Some lanes were closed Monday morning at the site of a major injury collision, according to police.

PALO ALTO, CA — UPDATED: Palo Alto police reopened Oregon Expressway at about 9:50 a.m. Monday following a major injury collision and ensuing investigation. At about 7 a.m. Monday, the Palo Alto Police Department reported the crash in a Twitter post, saying westbound Oregon Expressway was closed from Bryant Street to the Alma overpass.
Police said in a later traffic alert that eastbound lanes remained open, but advised motorists to avoid the area if possible.
