TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, will once again assemble playwrights and composers from across the nation in its 2012 New Works Festival. The eleventh annual Festival plays August 5-19 at Lucie Stern Theatre, with multiple staged readings of new plays and musicals and a panel discussion, all open to the public. This year’s festival will see everything from BEING EARNEST, a swingin’ 1960s take on Oscar Wilde’s comic masterpiece, to SLEEPING ROUGH, a compelling modern drama that spans oceans.
