BAY AREA, CA – From Sacramento this week, Gov. Jerry Brown signed several new laws:
Law Inspired by Convicted Rapist Brock Turner Signed By Calif. Governor
- Gov. Jerry Brown signed a into law a set of regulations requiring mandatory minimum prison sentences for raping unconscious victims
CPR Training Now Mandatory In High School Health Classes In California
- Gov. Brown over the weekend signed CPR education bill into law. Curriculum to begin in 2018-19 school year.
Governor Signs Bill Requiring Law Enforcement Officers To Safely Stow Guns Left In Vehicles
- The bill introduced by Bay Area senator stemmed from incidents where citizens were shot with guns stolen from patrol cars.
Ignition-Interlock Devices To Soon Be Mandatory For Repeat DUI-Offenders, First-Timers Who Cause Injury
- First-time offenders, without injury involved, have two options in bill governor signed and introduced by Bay Area senator .
Governor Signs Bill That Tightens Disclosure Rules For CPUC
- The reform package stemmed from PG&E executives meeting with commissioners and staff to "judge shop."
