Interested In Becoming A Police Officer?

The Palo Alto PD is hiring -- even for entry level. A recruiting seminar is set for June. RSVPs required.

Announcement from the Palo Alto Police Department:

Do you know someone who wants to become a police officer? We’re hiring officers (both entry-level and laterals), and we are hosting a recruiting seminar next month!

The free seminar is designed to give you detailed information about our department and our community. You will be able to meet SWAT officers, canine officers, and motorcycle officers from our Traffic Team. We will give information about our selection process, the police academy experience, our field training program, and salary and benefits.

The seminar is on Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to noon in the City Council Chambers of Civic Center, at 250 Hamilton Avenue. Anyone is welcome to attend, but you need to first RSVP before June 24 to Julie Driscoll in our Personnel & Training Division. Send her an e-mail atjulie.driscoll@cityofpaloalto.org or shoot her a call at 650-329-2601.
