PALO ALTO, CA — Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden stopped in Palo Alto on Thursday afternoon for a fundraising event. The former vice president attended a luncheon at Evvia Estiatorio restaurant downtown, according to Palo Alto online.

Biden made some news at the event, disclosing that his campaign raised just over $15 million over the last three months — a total that lags behind Bernie Sanders ($25.3 million), Elizabeth Warren ($24.6 million) and Pete Buttigieg ($19.1 million), but leads California Senator Kamala Harris, who raised $11.6 million this quarter.

Biden also took on President Donald Trump, currently embroiled in an impeachment inquiry over reports that he pressured a foreign leader to investigate Biden's family.
