Leading Medical Tech CEO Clinton H. Severson Joins Board of Directors
HUMANE SOCIETY SILICON VALLEY APPOINTS NEW BOARD MEMBER

MILPITAS, CA. April 7, 2016 – Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) proudly welcomes Clinton H. Severson, CEO of Abaxis to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. He joins the group of uniquely talented animal lovers dedicated to the organization’s mission to save and enhance lives – both two-legged and four-legged. “After years of business collaboration with Severson through his company, Abaxis – a cutting-edge veterinary technology company, HSSV is pleased that his personal connection to the organization can now help guide our programs and services,” says Carol Novello, President of HSSV.
Clinton H. Severson serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Abaxis, and has been one of their directors since June 1996. He was appointed Chairman of the Board in May 1998. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Cutera, Response Biomedical Corporation and Trinity Biotech. From November 2006 to February 2012, he also served on the Board of Directors of CytoCore, Inc.
Severson received his B.A. in Business Administration from Minot State University. He and his wife, Conni, and their cat Godot, reside in Palo Alto.
