New Route Launches With Non-Stop Flights From SJ To Beijing
This is the first such service offered from the San Jose area.

Hainan Airlines launched a new non-stop route from Mineta San Jose International Airport to the Beijing Capital International Airport in China, airport officials announced Monday.
The service is the first-ever to provide direct flights connecting the San Jose area to China, airport officials said.
The new route is estimated to create 52 jobs in San Jose. The flight’s overall economic impact for the region is estimated at $105 million annually, according to airport officials.

The route utilizes a 213-seat Boeing 787 Dreamliner for five round-trip flights per week.
