Palo Alto Festival of the Arts

Celebrate the arts on University Avenue

Welcome to the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts!

On August 24-25, the celebrated fine art festival known as the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts returns to beautiful downtown Palo Alto on University Avenue from 10am-6pm. A stunning showcase of art is displayed across all mediums with 300 talented contemporary artists from all over the country and the Bay Area. Many unique and one-of-a-kind art pieces are available for the perfect location in your home, business, and art collection.

Festival attendees will have the opportunity to become immersed in some exceptional artistry while strolling University Avenue and adjacent side streets. Don’t miss the Italian Street Painting Expo where “paintings” made from chalk pastels are created at ground level – on the pavement. Live musical performances on two stages, street corner concerts, interactive exhibits, Kids’ Art Studio – all FREE and will enhance your festival experience. And NEW this year - emerging student glass artists from Palo Alto High School: Paly Fiery Arts.
