Palo Alto PD Arrests Pair In Connection With Storage Unit Break-In

The burglary was Tuesday at a condominium complex on West Bayshore Road.

Police have arrested two men suspected of burglarizing a storage locker in Palo Alto early Tuesday.

Police said officers at 2:27 a.m. Tuesday received a report of a burglary of a storage locker at a condominium complex in the 2400 block of West Bayshore Road.

Police said the victim, a woman in her 50s, observed two suspects taking tools from her locked storage locker.

She told police she saw the suspects flee the area in a teal Ford sedan and was able to provide police with the first letter of the vehicle’s license plate.

Police said an officer with the Los Altos Police Department located the suspect vehicle at 5:14 a.m. in the area of North San Antonio Road at Loucks Avenue in Los Altos.

Police said the two suspects, identified as Donald Whitney Marshman, 27, of Fremont, and Eric Garth Anderson Jr., 26, who has no permanent residence, were taken into custody without incident.

The men were arrested on suspicion of felony burglary, felony possession of stolen property, felony probation violation and misdemeanor possession of burglary tools, according to police.
