Palo Alto Peeping Tom: Suspect With Bushy Eyebrows Sought

Police released an eerie surveillance image of the suspect Wednesday in the hopes someone may recognize him.

PALO ALTO, CA — Police in Palo Alto released an eerie surveillance image Wednesday of a man seen peeping into a bedroom window of a Palo Alto home. At about 11:50 p.m. July 11, a resident in the 100 block of Waverly Street received an alert from his security camera of movement in his backyard, police said. As the resident reviewed footage from the camera, he saw a man enter his yard through a closed gate and peer into an occupied bedroom for several minutes before leaving on foot.

The resident called police at about midnight and officers responded with a canine but did not locate the suspect, police said.

The image released Wednesday of the suspect shows a Caucasian or Hispanic man in his early 20s with dark, thick eyebrows and a mustache. The suspect had a light-colored shirt wrapped over his head and was wearing baggy shorts with stripes on the side.
