Palo Alto School Board Backs Reopening Plan: Report
Families of elementary school students have been asked to state their preference for remote or in-person learning by July 17.
PALO ALTO, CA — The Palo Alto Unified Board of Education on Friday unanimously approved the school district’s proposal to reopen in this fall with a few adjustments, Palo Alto Weekly reports.
The Palo Alto Unified School District approved a reopening plan on June 30 calling for a resumption of distance learning for high school and middle school students and a return to campus for elementary school students.
The board is requesting the district make a some modifications, including more in-person learning for sixth graders and a later start time for high school and middle school students, the report said.
